La Finca Restaurant is a truly family-owned business. Peter and Sylvia Ingham, who relocated to the Club after 30 highly successful years in a similar business in England’s beautiful Lake District, first visited La Manga Club on holiday in 1996. On that occasion Sylvia brought a charity golf event to the club, sponsored by her long-time friend Sir Cliff Richard. It was during this event that she and Peter spotted the potential to purchase La Finca Restaurant. La Finca restaurant is now regarded as one of the area's premier dining experiences, and is famous for the standard of its food and service. The Inghams’ daughter, Chelsea, and Head Chef, Jason, have been the driving forces behind La Finca´s undoubted success.

The family also own another local business. Si Bar & Restaurant is a totally different experience. Si will naturally appeal to all age ranges. It's a great place to take the kids. Good quality food is served all day from 9.00am till 11.00pm, and the traditional Sunday roasts are widely acclaimed for quality and value. Table bookings on Sundays are now essential to avoid disappointment and the prices for food and drink are sensible.
Peter Ingham says, “We have developed a concept which creates a total venue suiting most people’s needs.” Peter, being a keen sports enthusiast and a dedicated lifetime Leeds United supporter, has ensured that it is a great place to watch live sport. On entering the bar, the first thing you will notice are the many 42 inch plasma screens tastefully placed around the very pleasant Raffles effect conservatory Restaurant & Bar area.
A recent addition to the Bar is a state of the art LS Links Golf Simulator featuring 38 courses including Valderama, Pebble Beach, St Andrews and many more, a must for both pros and amateurs alike to play.
Si Bar Restaurant is ultimately a family enterprise. Peter and Sylvia’s children, Andrew and Chelsea, as well as Chelsea’s fiancée, Wayne, are very much involved in the running of the businesses. An excellent family environment is integral to Si Bar’s current success. The regular live entertainment includes children’s entertainers and they have table tennis and pool tables, mini-golf and a large children’s garden with football and other sports. While your kids are having such a good time, there are Internet facilities to check on your emails.
La Manga Club is very much the Ingham family’s home. They are looking forward to many years of continued success and, of course, to regularly updating what they have to offer. |
